Deposits

A deposit is required for all cake orders (and is non-refundable/non-transferrable). £50 secures any available date for wedding bookings. Deposits are made up to one third of the final balance within two weeks of a consultation and final balances are due two weeks prior to your wedding date.

Special Occasion cakes require a 50% deposit and full payment one week prior to collection if paying by cheque or direct transfer.

Payments

Payments may be made by:-

  • Cash on collection – celebration cakes only – not wedding orders
  • Personal Cheque
  • Building Society cheque
  • Direct transfer – please contact for account details

Alterations to orders

Any alterations to the original order must be confirmed in writing and may be subject to an additional charge. Late amendments to orders are often possible and every effort will be made to accommodate changes, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations of orders

In the event of cancellation, work already completed is chargeable. Please be aware this may be additional to any one third deposit paid following consultation should the order be cancelled between then and payment of the final balance.

Hired Items

All hired items must be cleaned, re-boxed and returned in person by agreed dates. This will be by 12 noon on Monday following Saturday and Sunday weddings or the next working day for weekday weddings. Friday weddings require return on Saturday by 12 noon. A £5 daily charge will be incurred for late returns or extended hire. Security deposits are refundable in full if items are returned on time and undamaged. I do not return to venues to collect stands etc. free of charge. Where the Monday following a wedding is a Bank Holiday, return will be required on Tuesday. Some Sunday returns are available by prior arrangement but cannot always be guaranteed.
